Remains of the Swamp

The photo project "Remains of Swamp" is a part of my work documenting the research process for the “BERL-BERL” exhibition in Berlin.
The immersive installation, along with photographs that document the entire process from research to exhibition, honors the wetlands of Berlin and the critical role they played in the creation of the city. The photo project captures the creative journey of the artists as they explored the remaining wetlands of Berlin and offers a unique glimpse into the creative process behind the "berl-berl" installation.

The photo project aims to show the significance of the wetlands to Berlin's identity and history; however, it's not just about the past; the climate crisis is threatening the future of these wetlands and the ecosystems they support. The project brings to life the story of the wetlands and their contribution to the urban landscape, while also highlighting the need to address climate change and protect these precious natural resources.
