Off-Season Reflections: A Slow Journey Through Batumi

The photo project showcases the Georgian touristy city Batumi in a non-seasonal environment, revealing a different side of the city. The moody and melancholic atmosphere of the city in the off-season portrays a slower pace of life and a quieter ambiance. The streets are less crowded and more quiet, allowing the viewer to see the city in a new light. In many ways, the off-season environment of Batumi is a more authentic representation of the city.
Through this project, I aimed to provide a different perspective on Batumi, showcasing the city beyond the summer tourism season. The images invite the viewer to appreciate its unique beauty and character and to experience a side of the city that is not often showcased or experienced. Through this project, I hope to encourage more people to visit Batumi beyond the summer season and experience its unique charm and character in a more personal way.
