After more than a decade of a super successful career as external affairs and online communications professional for the World Bank, I decided to challenge myself and leave my comfort zone.
In April 2022 I embarked on a Silk Road journey to contribute to “A Million Voices” - a visual storytelling project that intended to break down stereotypes and preconditioned ideas, inspiring change one story at a time.
As part of my freelancing experience during the past year, I have worked as a communications consultant, a storyteller, a photographer and a travel guide. My photo essays with focus on gender issues and lifestyle in Iran, Pakistan, Kyrgyz Republic and Mongolia were been published in a prominent online magazine in Georgia. I'm excited about taking on some new projects that won’t restrict me from traveling and will help me hone my visual storytelling skills even further.
