SCENES OF RADIOACTIVE LIFE

"Scenes of radioactive life" my first series, I started the summer 2014, is an open series in which I continue to work. I wanted to reflect the more kitsch side and the aging society. This work wants to be a break with the traditional canons of beauty, in which the protagonists of the scenes do not necessarily have to be young characters, I intend to take from totally everyday scenes, scenes with surreal dyes, loaded with color, vitality and irony. I like experimenting with photography. I don’t care about the equipment I use, I care about the results I get, and I’m open to trying any gadget that I can get my hands on.    With my photography, I try to be inconspicuous and to get as close to my subjects as possible, invading their personal space, in order to capture a more powerful expression.     I’m looking to portray the kitsch aspect and the ageing of society, but always from a surreal and ironic point of view.    María Moldes (Spain)
