Diaries from Samar

Samar is one of the last socialist kibbutzim created 1972 by 18 anarchistic oriented individuals who decided to built up their own Kibbutz in a negev desert in southern Israel. They had their own vision of Kibbutz, away from the capitalistic change in Kibbutz structures since the 70ies.
I have been living and working there several weeks and did documenting the everyday life with my Iphone. Over thousand pictures arose from that time which give an Portrait about a social utopia which manifest itself in a alternative livingspace in the negev desert far away from israeli social policy and religious dogma.
