On 11th of March the WHO announced the COVID-19 virus as a pandemic. From that moment everyday life in Poland began to change. Firstly, due to the introduction of the epidemic status, restrictions were introduced to protect people from getting infected. Secondly, fear appeared among the people. Places, once full of life, became depopulated. In public spaces a noticeable emptiness appeared, interpersonal relationships changed. Postapocaliptic atmosphere and views appeared in front of people faces like scenes from different movies that they had seen. With time, the so-called defrosting of the economy started in Poland. People slowly began to go out into the street, but the feeling of fear remained.The second wave of the pandemic has arrived in the fall. Finally, humanity faced a new reality that forced them to leave their comfort zone. The individual was doomed to total isolation.According to official data bye December 31 2020, in Poland over 1,294,878 people fell ill and 28,554 died.

“City Diary” is my personal work about travelling through my hometown. Trying to rediscover it and understand. The city is constantly changing. Additionaly, I use those images as my personal scrapbook while working on my long-term project about my city.

When you look at it, it reminds you of “Blade Runner” by Ridley Scott. All the buildings, lights and number of people on the streets. In Ferbuary 2015, I took my first trip there. I was enchanted by it and people I met there. How they dress and how important is honor, what you say and how you behave is in this culture. Thats why I decided to do a work about daily life and lifestyle in the street of Tokyo. Mainly, I focused on Omotesando, Shibuya, Shinjuku and Roppongi districts.

Occupy Wall Street movement started on September 17th, 2011 with protests against social inequalities and influence of corporations on the government. It lasted until November 15th when the NYPD removed the protesters from Zuccotti Park, arresting 200 of them. The protest spread to other U.S. cities and gained attention in international media.

Fashion Week Poland takes place in Łódź, Poland and is the biggest fashion week in Poland. It shows recognized designers as a part of 'Designer Avenue', off fashion shows "OFF Out Of Schedule" and "Showroom"- designers stands, as well as workshops and seminars "Let Them Know ". During 2013 edition more than 15 000 people attended.
