2022 Aung Chan Thar We Want Democracy On February 1, 2021, the military, led by Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, unjustly seized power in Burma. On the same day, several officials, including the President and Aung San Suu Kyi, were arrested. And then they restricted citizens' freedoms by Internet cuts and curfews. Myanmar people Citizens also took to the streets to protest the military's injustices. The aim of the protest leaders is to protest peacefully and reveal the truth. That is why the people of Burma protested in a disciplined and peaceful manner. The citizens are protesting peacefully for democracy. However, many people were killed and injured in the unjust shootings by the military and police.
2022 Aung Chan Thar Young volunteers 2021 has been the challenging year for Burma. The unjust coup and the resulting protests have killed and maimed many in the country. The third wave of the Covid-19 pandemic has also led to many deaths. Across the country, many people are suffering due to a shortage of doctors and oxygen supply. The price for medicine has become exorbitant. In response, many young people across the country started to volunteer in fighting this pandemic. For me they are the real heroes with a sense of humanity and compassion. With this visual narrative, I explore the spirit of these young volunteers around me.
