On February 1, 2021, the military, led by Senior General Min Aung Hlaing,
unjustly seized power in Burma. On the same day, several officials, including the President and Aung
San Suu Kyi, were arrested. And then they restricted citizens' freedoms by Internet cuts and curfews.
Myanmar people Citizens also took to the streets to protest the military's injustices. The aim of the
protest leaders is to protest peacefully and reveal the truth. That is why the people of Burma
protested in a disciplined and peaceful manner. The citizens are protesting peacefully for
democracy. However, many people were killed and injured in the unjust shootings by the military
and police.
