The life of the Pink Bridge
Every day the dark and noisy traffic of the city of San Salvador looms under the mantle of the pink bridge of the Barrio de la candelaria. Place where young inhalers of glue known as Peguitas live and die. Without direction and without destiny each one of them transits by the surroundings without hardly knowledge of what they do and the why. Malnourished and confused the glue shatters their lives. Dirty With more life inside their pupils than in the cobblestones by which they crawl aimlessly. They are called Peguitas because of the toxic they inhale, an industrial glue to which, paradoxically, they have been stuck. Nose against bottle or plastic bag.
