Thomas Rabsch studied photography and visual communication at the Folkwangschule in Essen. His work won the Lead Award, the Hasselblad Fine Art Award and the Art Directors Club. He works as a freelance photographer. for the Stern, Geo, National Geographic, Zeit Magazine, Süddeutsche Zeitung and F.A.Z., Weltwoche, the New York Times, the Guardian, Rolling Stone, Billboard, GQ, 11Friends and the Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus.

Thomas Rabsch counts with his portraits and reportage photos to the most distinguished photographers of his generation.
His pictures are characterized by an intense liveliness and intimate closeness to his motives.
